Tuition and Fees

Linville Hill Christian School has a scholarship program for families who need financial assistance.  All scholarships are derived from donor-recommended contributions to the fund through the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC).  The EITC is a program through the State of Pennsylvania where local corporate businesses receive a 90% tax credit of their corporate stock tax and also personal income tax from pass through distributions from partnerships, LLC’s, LLP’s and S-corporations.  Businesses then designate which nonprofit organization receives their tax credit.  We have almost 30 businesses in Lancaster County that have designated LHCS as the recipient of their contributions and this has made Christian education possible for many of our patron families.  In the 2019-2020 school year LHCS was able to award over $240,000 in scholarships to 136 students. 

 Applications for scholarships are completed online through an organization called FACTS.  FACTS reviews and approves all applications.  A $35 fee is required to submit an application for each family.  All LHCS families are notified when the application process opens in the Fall of each school year.  When the application process opens, you will also be notified of the income requirements for eligibility.  All scholarships are need based and award notifications are typically sent out in January.
