We believe that our students are the next generation of leaders. Linville Hill is committed to 5 days of academic instruction inside and outside the classroom where students meet the academic requirements for high school graduation. On the 5th day of the week students are engaged in practical instruction in career readiness and vocational skills in a variety of careers and industries. These semester based, unpaid educational internship experiences occur on Fridays during the school year in partnership with business owners who agree to create learning opportunities that build leadership and support the growth of each student.

“We like the internship program! We also appreciate that when students are not at internships, they are in class at Linville Hill learning skills from professionals regarding interviewing, personal finance instruction, resuming writing and portfolio building. These apply to real life!”
